Karen Jenkin’s Blog

Karen has over 15 years experience working in the telecoms and IT arena, mainly spent with mobile applications software and systems. Other areas she has had experience in is web development, speech processing and AI software.

Karen has had a variety of technical and management roles in Ericsson, Telstra, the University of Melbourne and Adacel. She also founded an IT security and support business to serve the small business market in Melbourne.

Business innovation and creativity, future technology, location-based services and Ruby on Rails development are some of Karen’s professional areas of interest. On a personal level, her interests include bushwalking, xc-skiing, sculpture and sustainability.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Engineering Science (University of Melbourne) and a Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship, Swinburne University).
